Author's Notes: I'm not certain this is what you meant when you said plotty, Meri, but it was most definitely inspired by your prompt: 42 year old Harry must court/marry Snape for some very good reason. I thought you were being clever with the name (Violet Crumble Yum!). I was totally surprised that it was a hoax by the boys.

My good friend in Australia sent me a Violet Crumble, and apart from it being heavenly, I thought the name just begged to be used in a fic. I'm thrilled that my little mystery worked for you! Thank you so much!
