The team was wonderful; any flaws remaining are mine.

Summary: Snape's idyllic life with Lily is disrupted when the Ministry of Magic takes an interest in them.

I did finish this a few days ago but didn't have time until now to get back with my comment.

When I read the draft over in the DW comm, it really stuck with me. I don't care for explicit het much at all, but it won't keep me from reading a story - I'd miss some really great fics that way if it did.

But this is one of those stories that I will never forget. It seems so heartbreaking at first, but there's an air of hopefulness about it too, that one day Harry can accept himself and need to rely on becoming Lily less and less.

I love how you start in the present, keeping the reader guessing as to wtf is going on, and then the flashback as to how it all came about. Their beginning was so painful, but it was minimized by the knowledge of how Snape cares for Harry in the present. You captured Harry's anxiety over the potion making very well too.

I also like how you lighten the mood with Arthur's wondering about the 20 questions - that was perfect!

Great job. If I could vote, this one would deserve a perfect score all the way around.

	I was hoping it'd be interesting enough to get past some people's dislike of het. I know there are some readers who won't touch het no matter how many of their instant-button kinks a story has, and I wasn't trying to get around that. this is one of those stories that I will never forget Ohh, squeee!
