On a rare occasion, I see a piece of art in which the Snape makes me say, "Ah yes, that's him exactly!" This is how I see him. You certainly nailed your genre and prompts, and the title is perfect.

I really like how this gruff, physical Snape is capable of a tender moment, and Harry's peaceable-ness and obvious contentment is infectious. The detail is great too--the body hair, the stockings, the texture of the coverlet. What a beautifully done entry, my Snitch!

	Thank you so much! Yeah, this is pretty much my head!canon Snape, exactly. I like him gruff, gnarled, sad, and hunched, because that's what he's made of. But he is not heartless by any means, and I always try to convey that. (Reply to this) (Parent)
