Artist's Notes/Thank you's: I had originally wanted to do something else, but time was not on my side (even with the extension from the gracious mods). This is from my first brainstorming session. I'd thought it might be fun to do a macabre image based on Pinocchio. Snape, as the Gepetto character, is fashioning himself a toy out of odds and ends he's acquired.

	This is absolutely brilliant and horrifying. It's as much Frankenstein as Pinocchio, and fascinating to the extreme; is Harry not alive yet, dead, or just crazy? Is Snape healing or harming? This is terrifying. Magnificent. I feel like staring at it, and never looking at it again. I'm marvelling at your skill, and half wanting to hide from you. Well done! (Reply to this)

The realism of the piece - the detailing in the clothes, Snape's and Harry lacking, the insistance of the flesh and blood Snape is bending to his whim/will - is more horrifying for being seen through a dreamy haze. The ambiguousness tortures - will Harry be a just doll, "real" only in Snape's (mad) eyes? Or is Severus a true necromancer?

And in a very personal note, the lack of nipples on Harry is deeply, deeply disconcerting. I just can't stop looking at this.
