A/N: First, thank you to the mods for creating the Games in the first place and for having the patience of saints. [info]leela_cat did a phenomenal job with this in a ridiculously short time. Whatever coherence the fic has is due to her heroic efforts and hand-holding. Also thanks to Team Phoenix for putting up with my fumbling captaincy and for helping to make this an enjoyable ride. Lastly, many thanks to my beloved [info]rinsbane for talking me through to the images I needed. I wish this were a better first offering, my dear.

*With gratitude to [info]leela_cat and apologies to T. S. Eliot.

Wow!
Well, I thnk that wins the award for the most bitter-sweet ending ever.

So glad, after all they went through that Snape says 'Find me'.

It was so well planned out and thought provoking.I can't imagine the time, effort and mental power that went into writing an epic like this. That input itself is amazing.Coupled with a fantastic plot and believable characters, this is quite wonderful.

*g* I worked hard for that bittersweet award!

Seriously, though, I really wanted the ending to be edged with both sorrow and joy - to be as bittersweet as it was within my power to make it. I was trying for several different kinds of ambiguity, because that's the essence of Snarry to me. Even when something goes right, the potential for hurt is just below the surface. But so is the connection, at a very deep level.

I have a lot of different thoughts about the ending and where it might lead, but I prefer that readers make up their own minds.

Writing this fic was at times almost a hallucinatory experience; I suspect some of my obsessiveness rubbed off on the story itself. Thank you for your lovely observations - and for making it through all the way to the end.
