Jealousy
“Is he ill?” Remus asked as Severus carried Harry through the door.
Harry was sweaty, pale, and reeked of vomit.
“No,” Severus snapped, “We just stayed at Shacklebolt's retirement party too long.”
“I don’t understand,” Remus replied.
“He’s intoxicated. Apparently, he had too much fun with his mates,” Severus said sneering as he deposited Harry onto the sofa.
Remus snorted.
“Look…”
“He’s allowed to have friends, Severus,” Remus interrupted, “You’d better get your jealousy under control or you’re going to lose him.”
“I know.”
“Well, then…the baby’s asleep in her crib, so I’ll just let myself out.”
Severus nodded, teary-eyed.
