A/N: so there's a new video clip today of Dan Radcliffe in a different role. He says a line that is in this drabble which has cracked up many of us, so it had to be done.

"What the hell did they do?" Harry gaped as the doors opened.

"Horrifying, isn't it?" Minerva McGonagall came out of her office. "Perhaps we ought not to have awarded Dobby the Hogwarts renovation contract.

Severus shook his head. "Potter, that creature--"

"I know. Remember the hats."

Severus looked at the lilac and burnt-umber spangles festooning the stairs and sighed. "Perhaps we should …go unpack."

When they opened the door to their new quarters, Harry winced. "Oh, god. Get me a bourbon, would you, babe?"

Severus was already heading for the spirits, but stopped to glare.

But he brought the drink.
