“How many are we expecting?”
“Eight. Neville and Draco...”
“A less likely couple I cannot imagine...”
“Ginny and Blaise...”
“... except for those two, perhaps...”
“Minerva and Argus...”
“... enough to give me nightmares...”
“And, the Weasley twins.”
“Merlin, give me strength.”
“Everyone who’s left, Severus,” Harry said. “I invited them all.”
Severus pulled Harry close. “So, this ‘Thanksgiving’ is an American holiday?” He surveyed the enormous meal. “It’s protocol to have this much food?”
Harry laid his head on Severus’ shoulder. “Yes. We eat together, thankful for family and friends.”
Severus smiled. Everything he was thankful for was in his arms.
