It's all about families
Characters: Harry, Regulus
Summary: Catching up and enjoying the quiet.
Harry appeared in front of Dreams of Egypt close to closing time, hoping to drag Regulus out for dinner and get a tour without disturbing his customers. He hadn't been to the new shop yet, waiting for Regulus to move past the initial opening stresses before dropping in. It was strange still, seeing Regulus at Serenus' house even though it had been a few weeks now, and Harry found himself visiting the family with less frequency, for fear of over-loading the very full household despite Serenus' reassurances. Between Tybalt's mother and grandmother and now Regulus, Serenus had more than enough hands to help with the twins.
Ever since Oliver and Faelan had talked, Harry had been feeling timid in general. Ron had been distant lately, and Hermione was constantly working. Regulus had found solace in Serenus' household and Harry still didn't know how to approach Gaius, who had been busy starting his own business. Now Faelan had his brother back in his life and Harry felt at loose ends. He recognized that he put too much stock in being needed, but a small part of his mind occasionally liked to torture him with doubts of his own existence outside of other people. Occasionally, he thought he needed a steady job, but then he thought about being tied down to a schedule again, like he was in the Voldemort years, and Harry gave that idea up quickly.
"Hello?" he called out, looking around the shop with curiosity and hoping his friend would answer.
