"I've met a few who seem to know me," he said in between sniffs. "So, it let me knows that they're from some version of my universe." He shrugged. "But there aren't many other heroes in my world." He paused. "Just me and my cousin, really." And, of course, The Bat. But he preferred to work in the shadows and play up the urban legend. So, he respected that. As much as he could, anyway.
He agreed, though. "Everyone is very friendly," he replied. "In truth, I'm probably more shy than I should be. I'm so used to hiding that..." He shrugged. "Sometimes I forget how to make real friends." Plus, it didn't help that he didn't quite trust this world. How much of it was them being studied? But, he was certain, that was his paranoid parents worried the government would take him away if people found out about him. He should put his faith in the people around him more, he supposed.
