So. A whole lot of people in town seemed to be sick? Ritsu was a bit worried, he didn't want to come down with something, but for now, it seemed like he was being spared. He felt like he usually did, anyway. Sluggish, for sure, he still didn't have his blood pressure medicine after all, but he was functioning.

He had moved into Nyx's house and settled in pretty well there. He knew he probably should be wary to move into some stranger's house just like that, but Nyx was kind, and Ritsu really hated being alone. So, precaution wasn't one of his major concerns. A warm bed, roof over his head and the presence of another human being was all he wanted, all he needed. For now, Nyx didn't seem bad and that was good enough.

So good, in fact, that Ritsu felt completely comfortable sleeping the day away in their house while Nyx was out tending to the sick people. But now the evening was coming and Ritsu had pulled himself out of bed, and he was wandering around in the quaint little house, trying not to think about everyone he missed and looking at all the random little gadgets and nick-knacks Nyx had laying about. He was only brought out of his thoughts at the sound of the door unlocking and opening.

"Welcome home..."

"Mm... I dunno~ Gonna help out somehow, I guess, but with all the sick people being overpowered and all, it's kind of..." He trailed off, didn't want to say the word 'scary'. Instead he shrugged vaguely and hid his mouth behind his hand as he yawned.

"Maybe I can help you so you don't overwork yourself," he continued, surprising himself a bit with the strangely unselfish suggestion. He was feeling grateful that Nyx had taken him in, but that grateful? How odd.

"I bet you're exhausted. Want water? Something to eat? I can rub your shoulders if you wanna~"

"I get it." Nyx said as if reading his mind. "It's intimidating..." He mentioned, despite the fact it didn't bother him at all. "Though just the simple things is all that is needed for people. Bring them soup. Books or things they can do while in bed ill." Nyx waved his hand some. "It's not that bad. Though if you want, just sit with them a bit so they have some human contact." Nyx shrugged some.

"Oh this is nothing." Nyx said stretching. "Maybe I'm just getting old." He shrugged as he stretched some in the chair. "I'll be alright. This is just things I'm not use to. I'm built for war, not nursing care." The Glaive leaned forward some propping his arms on his knees some.

"Food. Something solid. I've been staring at soups all day." Nyx laughed as he stood up. "We should eat."

That sounded like a whole lot of things to do for other people, and Ritsu quickly debated with himself if he was unselfish enough to do that. He supposed he had offered, so maybe he ought to go the extra mile and commit properly...

"I can cook," he suggested. "I mean, you've been on your feet all day. Maaaybe someone ought to pamper you for a change? Something solid... Is it alright if I look around the kitchen and see what you have?"

	Alright!" Nyx spouted off. "You cook." He shimmied to a bar stool at the island of the kitchen. "Master chef, what is it you are going to make for me?" Leaning some Nyx yawned some. "Well, to be fair.." He thought for a moment. "I'm just use to doing all the... doing things." Nyx shrugged some. "You just grow use to it, honestly." (Reply to this) (Parent)
