Sure Kitty loved fireworks, and yeah they'd stayed for some of the main show but when it came right down to it the teasing she and John had been doing throughout the afternoon and into the evening as they'd waited for the light show to begin had been more than enough to make her just a little bit more willing to leave early.

Because she did't mind the little shows of affection they'd traded so far, kisses and easy touches, but it was all rapidly shifting into something more and that something more wasn't something that she wanted the rest of the town seeing. She wasn't in a rush so much as she was simply eager, she liked having this with him, liked the afternoon they'd spent together, and the celebrating and the game, and now here they were at the end of a long day falling into one another.

"Think you're up for it?" She teased him, as if the idea that he might not be was even possible, "Or did you wear yourself out taking the murder chances down to zero for me?"

For all that John could tease and tempt her, Kitty liked him like this - with the single minded focus that had him holding her down with his body and pressing his mouth to hers in a way that said everything and more than he might have tried to with words. She moaned into it as she opened up beneath him, accepting the kiss eagerly and wrapping her arms around him.

Gasping lightly against her mouth as they pressed to each other. Their eagerness was more than obvious at this point. Her arms wrapping around him only encouraged him to press against Kitty allowing his wanting to be even more evident. Hands trailing down her body, he lifted her up some, while he shifted his own weight to provide a better angle.

Feeling how Kitty's body moved with his, just gasped more. Pressing into her was a sensation that made his head spin. It was absolutely wonderful and all he wanted was more. Sure there was a case to be made that what they'd done as soon as they'd gotten through the door was more intimate than this. Kitty might even make that argument at times, but right now with John over her and their bodies moving together as he pressed into her, Kitty was certain this was the most intimate moment they had shared thus far and she wanted so much more of it.

She tipped her head back when his mouth moved over her neck and throat, letting him have what he liked there was well. The whole situation at hand was intimate if you were to ask John. It was about them, here and now. Moving together as if they were always meant to be here together all this time. It was weird for John to fall as he had, but Kitty was something pretty great, and Pyro only wanted to keep sharing moments like this and more with her.

While she moved to give him more access, John eagerly let his mouth dance across her flesh. Sucking lightly here, nipping there, kissing right here. Oh, there was no holding John back at this point. He was pushing his hardest to bring her to that point. There wasn't a world that Pyro wanted to live in, where he was unable to provide that sweet release for Kitty. There it was. The way his name came right off her lips and gasped out was so wonderful. John let her ride that wave while still keeping his motions in place, and only slowing them to a crawl after a moment.

Letting his motions slow to a stop, he pulled her to him and pressed his mouth to hers in a heated kiss. John didn't move away from her in any way though, not wanting the feeling to actually end. Pyro broke the kiss long enough to actually speak to her. "You're incredible.." He muttered, feeling like the luckiest guy around right now. Kitty rode out that wave once more and sighed out slowly when they finally broke apart, at least in one way. She pressed close as he held her, "That was amazing." She agreed and kissed him again. "You are such a surprise." Not since being here of course, she'd found that she hadn't ever really known him in the past, it was just one small piece of the man he really was. And now being here she'd been able to actually get to know him and see all those pieces that they'd never had time for in the past - and it was so good.

She nuzzled against his jaw lightly and pressed small kisses there as she curled herself against his body. "I think we probably had some better fireworks than anyone else tonight." She teased playfully.

Kitty didn't have any complaints about leaving the celebrations early to do this with him, there was no where else in the world that she'd rather be than right there with John.

What a ride this was. John sighed happily as they wrapped themselves around each other. "I gotta keep you guessing." John muttered softly at her as he kept her close while kicking the covers about so the can truly wrap themselves up the way they wanted. "But this whole day was just perfect." John said leaning into her more.

While her kisses trailed on him, Pyro purred softly at her. "There is no way that anything they saw was better than this." John chuckled softly. "Our show would have left them breathless." Not that John would want that type of audience.

Softly John let his fingers trail through her hair, softly petting her. There wasn't a celebration that John would want to be at over where he was in the now.

She laughed and nodded, "Well you certainly do a good job of that." She was fairly certain that John might just always keep her guessing, he could be so dour at times, so contrary but then he had these levels of kindness to him that surprised her. And then he showed her this side of him and he was something else entirely.

"Today really was perfect," There really wasn't anything about the day she would have changed, the game had been fun, the celebrations had been fun, and now this? She couldn't have asked for more.

Laughing Kitty shook her head, as she helped him pull the blanket up over them as she settled in against him, ready to get a little rest in before maybe they tried a little something else. "There is no way in hell, any of them are ever seeing this kind of show from us." She warned him, "This is just for us." And that was all that mattered as far as she was concerned as she nuzzled against him and made herself comfortable, ready for that little bit of sleep she felt coming up on her.
