Nebula | Quill
Nebula rolled her eyes at his initial reaction to her question, if he was plotting something evil she had no doubt that Gamora would be able to handle it easily enough on her own - but that wasn't what she had meant. But he stopped himself soon enough and took a moment to think it over before he continued.
"Just like?" She did not understand her sister's feelings for Quill, but she did not understand the feelings most beings had for one another beyond friendship. And even that was relatively new to her. But she did know that Gamora and Quill had done more than like one another in the past.
But it was all that Nebula wanted too, in a way. To be liked by her sister rather than looked at with suspicion, though she knew considering the circumstances it had been a lot to ask for. Gamora did not have the benefit of the years that Nebula had, not the trials they had been through, nor the battles they had fought even when they were against one another. They had been a part of Nebula's journey to where she was now.
She considered Quill again for a moment, "I do not understand you, Quill." Even for a part Terran he was strange, "But my sister saw something in you, you could be good for her even now." Without all of the experiences they had once shared, Gamora had changed in the short time she had known Quill and the rest of the Guardians, he could be good for her now too, help her in ways that Nebula could not.
