Adventuring into the Pokemon world had been exactly what Gwen needed to sort of bring her out of her sadness from missing her friend. Quality time with Tony and Natasha was helping too, of course. Having a Pokemon of her own was really cool too, and had given her even more of a purpose now that she had something to take care of. Right now said Pokemon was asleep at home, as Gwen had explained she was going out but would be back and she felt like her little companion understood what that meant.

Having gone for a walk, she heard a little bit of a commotion which caught her interest. There were some clucking sounds, so she figured there had to be some loose chickens around.

When she found one pecking around on the ground, she walked up to it and crouched down. "Hey there," she said, not that it made a difference. "We gotta get you back to your coop, little lady." When the chicken started to dart away from her, Gen used her enhanced abilities to catch it. "Yeah, sorry. I'm faster." She held it out a little so it couldn't peck her face and carried it to where she knew the chicken coop was located.

When she got there, she saw someone kneeling and doing what looked like some fence repair. Upon further inspection, she saw someone who looked kind of familiar, but different. Flash Thompson was someone she knew in her world, though this one was different. He was someone she'd wanted to catch up with, but as what seemed to be the case in this town, other things kept getting in the way.

"Hey," she said. "Looks like there are some escape artists in town." Gwen approached and leaned over the fence so she could put the chicken back in.
