Kitty Pryde ([info]shadowkitkat) wrote in [info]snapthread,
Kitty couldn't help but laugh once more, she'd have to fill him in just a little bit more about the slang of today's youth in the future if only to get him to react like that a bit more. "Don't worry, I think most of the people who talk like that are probably back in the real world." She soothed him with a small smirk, "Who knows maybe someone here will come up with some new and awful slang for your enjoyment." They had quite a few younger people here after all - it could happen. "Don't give up on the world just yet."

Pyro wasn't the only one who had that fear, though most of the humans here seemed to have never have heard of mutants where they were from, so it seemed just a little bit unlikely that they'd turn on them. But after a lifetime of seeing just how easily humans did turn on mutants, Kitty couldn't let herself grow complacent in that either - it was something she was always on the watch for no matter what sort of front she presented to the world around her.

"I think that's a very good idea," She agreed when he suggested they just enjoy it, there wasn't much else for them to do at this point - so there was no rush to go spoiling it worrying about the things that could happen but likely wouldn't.

Her eyebrow rose just a touch as she watched the flap begin to move just a little under his direction as he grinned at her. "Oh is that so?" She asked him, "And here I thought you weren't that kind of girl."
