Who: Gamora (mcu) and Klaus Hargreeves (Netflix)
What: Possible stabbing or friends or something
Where: Out the front of The Hargreeves house
When: Thursday night
Rating: Low

Coming to terms with being trapped somewhere wasn't easy, but it was made easier seeing as she was here with her sister. The two of them had claimed a house as their own and while they'd gone through a number of doors, they hadn't lead anywhere they'd rather be and they'd returned. Gamora had wanted a relationship with Nebula again for a lot of years, a proper relationship not a sparring partner and so it made it easier. Then there was Quill, he was there too and that was- well it was.

They'd been out drinking, talking and she'd learned a lot about herself, the future her. She'd returned home, checked on her sister and then headed out again. She wasn't ready to sleep, Gamora's body warm with drink and her head spinning with too many thoughts and so she walked.

Gamora hadn't got far when she heard a noise and she spun around, sliding a knife out of its sheath as she did. The metal of it glinted as the moonlight hit it, light spilling out of the house next to them illuminating them more than enough for her to see.

She wondered what it would be like to be so clueless of the world, of universes far from your own. Maybe it was comforting to think of things as small, she wasn't sure as she'd never known it to be as such. For her it felt vast and lonely, although that had changed now that she had seen the extent of her sister's desire to be family once more.

"My sister is blue," Gamora said with a little head shake. "We are not sisters by birth, our father- he brought us together." She certainly wasn't about to speak of Thanos, of being ripped from their families and turned into what they were now, but maybe it needed a little understanding.

She probably wouldn't have been so forward with information at all if she hadn't been drinking.

Gamora was a weapon, bodyguard would be easy enough. Klaus seemed agreeable enough, most likely he wouldn't need protecting. But he seemed happy with the deal and she would hold up her end of the bargain, keeping her free of debt. She would have to show Quill, perhaps in the morning they might see each other.

She put the headphones around her neck and the player into her pocket, wearing it much like Peter did, because that seemed to be the way. "Thank you," Gamora said, a little stilted.

Her sister was blue. Things were just getting more and more interesting and Klaus was all about it to be honest. Maybe they were aliens but he liked Gamora and he had a feeling her sister could hang too. And then she explained because knowing Klaus he'd have had to ask, and that could have gotten strange.

"That-" Klaus hadn't ever heard that echo of familiarity from someone before, not about family. "That sounds a lot like my family." He told her. "My father brought us together too." He told her, honesty in the similarity of their situations. "From all over the world, he took us from our families and brought us together." But how much of a family could they have been from anyone they'd been born to who gave them up to Reginald Hargreeves. Even at his best he'd never looked like the sort of man who would have made a good father and the people who Klaus and his siblings had been born to just gave them up because he'd made the right kind of offer.

He was sure her situation was different, maybe better - maybe not. He couldn't say either way. But it was familiar.

At least they had the music to focus on, "No problem." He waved off her thanks, "It's what I do, if you need something just come and find me, my brother and I - we'll try and get it for you."

Gamora was surprised and it showed on her face, Klaus telling her about his family. He'd been taken from his family and there weren't many people who would know what that was like, maybe just them, Gamora had certainly never met anyone else who could relate.

"My father is dead now," Gamora said. "And my sister and I are free." She was glad of it, there was no sadness in his death, the universe was no longer at risk from the titan and Nebula was safe from him. Gamora had been glad to witness his end, just as he'd witnessed hers. He was truly finished and now they could learn to be something new.

It was very generous, but hearing about his family and talking with him a moment she found herself less apprehensive. "That is our house there, beside the Stark house," Gamora said as he pointed up the street. "Try not to startle my sister, she is perhaps less forgiving than I am," she added although she was nearly smiling with it.

It was weird, to find that he had something in common with an alien, was it bad to call her an alien now that she'd told him what she really was? Well he wouldn't tell her, that sounded like a fair compromise to him. But it was strange to find that even someone who lived a life that was no doubt far more interesting than his own - in space and dealing with all the things that happened out there - might have something in common with him was not something he'd imagined he'd ever find. And yet here she was standing before him.

He nodded when she told him that her father was dead and she and her sister were free. Just one more parallel. "Yes, my father is dead too." They'd kind of made their own paths in life to varying degrees throughout the years though, but there had been something very final about Reginald's death that had truly signified something that all of them had been running from up until that moment.

"It was no great loss, we're all better off without him." He added because it was true, they all were better off on their own. Even Reginald's scolding in the afterlife had reminded him of that. He'd known what was coming and hand't said a word about it. And they were the ones left picking up the pieces.

Klaus glanced where she pointed to the house that was hers with her sisters. "I'll make sure to keep from startling anyone the next time I'm out for my evening stroll." He agreed with a grin of his own as she warned him about her sister. And though he'd give her a wide berth he wanted to see her sister who was blue as well.

There weren't a great deal of people who would understand what it was like to be like them. She had felt like her and Nebula were the only ones and it reminded her there were all kinds of evil, Thanos hadn't been that special he'd just been very powerful. Even on earth there were men who took what didn't belong to them, left trails of destruction behind them it seemed.

"And without mine, to see him die was a very satisfying moment." Satisfying but also conflicting. Gamora didn't know who she was when she wasn't living under his thumb or trying to stop him. Now she was here and who she was was put into more focus because there was so little to do but think.

Gamora kept a tight hold of the music player as she walked backward toward her own house. It was half to continue talking to him, but also half because you didn't turn your back on a stranger. "And I'll see I look out for you, Klaus. Thank you, I'll go home and listen right away."

Klaus didn't need to be a genius to hear the satisfaction in Gamora's tone when she talked about the death of her father - strange that they would have so much in common. If they were drinking he'd have raised a glass for the both of them to the death of their fathers - the world, maybe even the galaxy was better off without them.

"I can believe that." It was only too bad Klaus had missed the death of Reginald, and even worse when he found out that his death had all been part of a larger plot to bring them all together again to save the world. Damn that man for never knowing when enough was enough. Would any of it have happened if he hadn't continued playing his games with them?

He sighed shaking his head, it wasn't the direction he'd seen them going and watching her move toward her house a but further Klaus decided they were probably in a good place.

"You have fun with that," He lifted a hand to wave her off as she made her plans to listen to the new music she'd been given and Klaus, well he was going to walk around a bit more and see what there was to find. "I'll see you around Gamora." And though she wasn't turning away from him he did turn away from her walking off into the night and letting her get back home the way she'd planned.
