"I'm sure they're perfect," he replied as he placed his hand on the material and examined them a little closer. At the question, he wasn't sure how to answer. There were certainly worst places to end up. Heck, they'd been in worst situations. Still, there was nothing good about being ripped away from your home. So, he answered the only way he could: "The place seems nice, though it could use a better name." He wore a small, teasing grin.
He shifted and leaned back against the counter top, arms folded across his chest as he thought about how long he'd been in the village. "Not long. Two or three weeks maybe?" He glanced at her. "How about you?"
