If there was one thing you could say about Jan, it was that she was full of boundless energy. It was oddly comforting. Steve, despite his discomfort at the idea of having to have "looks", was amused and wore a war smile. As she ventured for the water, he took in her shop. It was still early days. But, for having only been here for a month or so, perhaps, it looked pretty good. Though he wasn't exactly an expert.
He took the bottle and watched as she worked. He forgot how much joy this gave her. He and Bucky had been so focused on their missions that everything else in the world had fallen away. That happened, sometimes, when it came to Bucky. Once organized, he joined her and studied that outfits. They were, thankfully, not garish or loud. Steve was not that. He smiled, though, at the choices.
He slipped an arm around her shoulders. "They're perfect and exactly what I needed," he said and kissed the side of her head. "It's good to see you, Jan."
