Dick had kissed Peter and held him as much as he wanted, given him all the whispered promises he could that he'd come back safe and there was nothing to worry about. There were a bunch of things to worry about, but Dick wasn't about to let those fears get in the way of what needed doing. Really, if anything did happen to him on the other side, Peter had a whole host of people who would look out for him. Including Jay, he hoped and Jay at least wasn't likely to pull any punches (or bullets) when it came to being protection.

He'd texted Babs to tell her to meet him at the doors and changed into his uniform. He picked the one in the most shadow and leaned against the wall, arms crossed lightly over his chest as he waited for the woman who had once been the love of his life back when he'd been mistakenly informed that there'd only ever be one. She would always be his heart. It didn't matter what universe they were from or in. That Dick Grayson loved Barbara Gordon definitely seemed to be one of those constants. So he waited, a small smile on his face. He was more happy than he could say to be getting ready to go flying with her again.

"Oh god yes, udon." She agreed easily and readily - Barbara had a great many skills, but the ability to resist the offer of good food was not one of them. "Yes, I think that's probably a perfect idea." She nodded, because well a meal with Dick was just about the only way something like udon could be improved upon.

Part of her half expected some thing, some person, some monster to jump out at them, after her trip through the doors with Harley it kind of seemed like that's what they were, but Dick had been going through them for a while now and hadn't mentioned that he got attacked every single time he went through.

So maybe they could just have a nice night together, dinner and gathering supplies. It'd be nice. Almost normal even. And that alone was a tempting thought.
