Okay. Going through the Door by himself was definitely not the best idea. He probably should've asked Steve to go but that whole lone wolf thing had sort of become habitual and he'd found himself stepping through that day out of curiosity of what he might find. He wasn't exactly keen to go home. Knowing that the battle with Thanos was about to get under way and that they ultimately were going to lose wasn't exactly something he wanted to get back to even if it probably was the honorable thing to do. Was that even the word? Really, he'd rather just stay in the town. Steve was there; his Steve, who was the most important person to him. If he knew Steve was there and safe, then why would he want to go back to a place where he, Bucky, would end up dead and Steve left to try to pick up the pieces -- the ashes? No, that didn't sound good, even though deep down he knew it probably was what needed to happen. Bucky wasn't the only person who'd died that day. Half the universe was gone too, and he knew in his heart Steve and the other survivors would be trying to do whatever it took to get them back or at the very least, well, avenge them. So, if he could find answers through the Door, then so be it. If he could find them without having to worry Steve about it, even better.
When he entered through the door, he found himself in a very strange place. It seemed to be some sort of... well, he didn't know. There were people everywhere which really put him on edge. Bucky wasn't exactly a social butterfly anymore (those days were long since in the past). Since he'd gone through the door, Bucky was dressed in the uniform he'd arrived in town wearing, armed with his rifle, knives, and pistols because he had no idea what he'd be walking into. He still didn't know what exactly was going on as he looked around.
"Oh my god, you look amazing!" A girl's voice called out from nearby.
Bucky blinked in surprise; was she talking to him. He turned his head to see a girl wearing some sort of weird outfit. She had on shorts that were far too short (were they even shorts? they looked like panties) fishnets, a shirt that read the words, 'Daddy's lil monster" on it, a jacket, and she had platinum blonde pigtails dyed pinkish red and blue. "...Uh--"
"Take a selfie with me!" The girl ran right up to him and held up her phone, snapped a photo before Bucky even knew what was happening, then ran off. "Did you see his arm? Oh my god the muscles were real!" She squealed to her friend who looked like she was wearing a corset made out of green ivy leaves as they hurried away.
"What the fu..." He trailed off, as he started to walk in the opposite direction of the girls. As he scanned the crowd, he saw more people in outfits, some of which he even recognized because they looked like the Spider-People he'd seen in town and remembered from his own life a few years ago. There was another man nearby, who looked a little lost too. Bucky thought he looked familiar, even though he hadn't talked to him before. He was the guy who had the coffee in town. Bucky approached him slowly. "...Hello," he said "Do you know what this place is?"
