Clint lowered it carefully. Honestly he was more intrigued than anything. He didn't trust her and probably wouldn't for some time, if it at all given the few people he trusted in his life, but it didn't hurt to listen. "How did that happen?" he asked curiously. There was something she wasn't telling him but he supposed he could figure it out in time.

There was also the matter of Laura and his kids but he'd broach that in a bit.

He just wasn't in the habit of taking in strays. Natasha being the sole exception and... Well he couldn't quite figure it out which he didn't like
