Kate Bishop | America Chavez
America frowned as Kate told her a bit about what she'd been doing before she'd found herself here, so not dealing with sharks with legs the way she seemed to have been when she'd called America for help. "You weren't you know.... dealing with land sharks before you came here, were you?" She asked, just trying to get a better idea of the sort of time line they were working with. It sounded like it wasn't exactly linear, which sure - that was a thing, but America didn't exactly appreciate it either.
"Sounds like this is all switched around then, I wonder who is behind this." She frowned again, wishing for a clear answer, or someone to step out of the shadows and claim responsibility for it all, but that didn't seem to be happening yet, at least not for her, so here she was - at least with her very best friend in the world for company, so it wasn't all bad.
If she didn't know better it sounded like the sort of thing that Mother had pulled them into, familiar names but not quite the faces, damn the multiverse and all of it's variations. It was a kind of annoyance that America didn't always hate, but at the moment she wasn't particularly a fan.
Laughing, America tugged Kate in closer and laughed, "Still the same Kate Bishop I've always known, I'd be lost without you. At least I know if we have to kick some ass while we're here I've got the most capable girl around on my side."
