Who: Superhusbands
What: Valentines NSFW
When: February 14th after the party
Where: Out then in

Steve knew that it wasn't a big deal, that he and Eddie had kissed, that Tony wouldn't be angry about it because it hadn't been their fault. The whole night had got a little sideways because Steve hadn't planned on getting close to anyone except his Always Sweetheart. But this place always threw a curve ball when you thought you had it all figured out it changed. The longer they stayed the more the kissing booth got used and he stepped up behind Tony and wrapped his arm around his chest from behind.

"Let's go home before-" he gestured to the kissing booth where the curtain shook and the whole thing gave a suggestive wobble.

As soon as they stepped outside to walk the few yards home Steve tucked Tony against him, his arm draped a little possessively and heavy around his shoulders. "Well that was not quite what I had in mind," Steve admitted with a sigh, but he was smiling. It was kind of hard not to when you were as lucky as he was.

Tony might argue that he felt similarly about this place -- although there were certainly days where it felt too small for him, too enclosed, too boring -- well. There were things here that he wasn't interested in trading for a bigger, more adventurous space. Anyway, you think he'd be over adventure with everything that'd happened leading up to here. (He wasn't, exactly. Maybe that was just the sort of thing you couldn't take out of someone, no matter what.)

Tony shifted slightly, so that he could lean on the counter top a little more lazily and see a little more of what Steve was showing off back there in the mirror's reflection. He couldn't help but like a nice show, and there was no better view in town, he was pretty sure. "Just like always," he repeated. He wondered, vaguely, if he would always feel a little surprised and blown away when Steve talked like that. He kind of hoped so.

Back in their own world, even if Tony had lived, they never would have stopped. But if they'd been like this he wondered if they'd have carved out something that belonged to just them. Maybe. It was hard to know. All Steve did know was that one more day? It was more than most people would ever get and here they were. To lose Tony now would be more, worse and really just too much to think about. So he focused on the dip of his spine, on what they had here.

Tony echoed his words and Steve looked up from where he'd been enjoying the view, smile softening his face for a moment. Because while once maybe it could have been rough and a little cold, there was too much between them. Steve reached past him into the cabinet, lube tucked behind something on the top shelf because showers were always more fun with two.

Steve lay a hand between his shoulders, pushing down to force him to bend forward and open himself up for him
