The trees weren't huge and it was pretty easy to use the way they fell to his advantage, but it was true, Steve packed more of a punch than he might appear to. "I do, I was the first here I think, so found most things there were to find. Happy to share, mind you," he said as he leaned over the fallen log.
"I was never allowed to help with things like this when I was a kid, my asthma," Steve explained. "Had to sit and watch, help where I could." Which wasn't really anywhere, he knew better than to get in the way. Lucky he'd got a brother in the end, even if he wasn't by blood.
"I think we take the tops off, no need to take them with us, leave them here to compost," Steve said. "Then we'll do the rest back in town, Tony will have come up with something to make the job easier I'm sure."
