Natasha just Wasn't Like Other Girls, she was more than a girl, she was a person and Steve had always thought so. He was shy, kept to himself mostly, but she did have a way of drawing him out of his shell that most people didn't. There was an ease with her and he felt that as soon as he saw her, unable to keep the smile off of his face.
"Let's get out the height chart I guess," he said as he patted the top of his head like maybe he was still getting taller right then and there. Of course it was easy not to have to worry about clothes or makeup when you were a man, you just put on a clean shirt and showed up.
"Aren't you used to being fawned over? I seem to remember that you were the it girl, always have been," he said with a snort. "How does it feel to be home?" Steve asked her.
