"That's not at all concerning," he replied with a furrowed brow and a tight clenched jaw. In his experience, abandoned cities with new dwellers never meant good things. More and more, he was convinced Myx or one of his friends was involved. Then again, it's not like Brainiac or Lex hadn't thought up of similar schemes--through with varying degrees of success. Still, he had no reason to doubt the man next to him. The fact that he, and the others, had been around for a month and had yet to find a way home was also concerning.

He stared at Peter and tilted his head. "Do you have secret arms?" Gently, he pushed the man's belly. "Do they grow or is that a body suit." He poked him gently again. "Or is this whole thing a suit and you're just one big spider." He pointed at Peter's face with a look of mild curiosity and surprise. "Or is that a mask?" Still, though, Clark, as savvy as he wasn't, hadn't spoken his name. He wasn't sure which one to give. Or just who was around.
