That - could have gone better. The webs snapped far more easily than Peter had thought they might, though he feared they would, it was too low to the ground and he'd been falling with too much speed, but he'd hoped he'd be able to catch him, to slow the fall enough that when he shot out for him once more. And yet even with that he still hit the ground, hard enough that Peter could hear the crack of it and he winced.
"Please don't be dead," He said after he'd scrambled down from the rooftops and approached slowly both hands up to check that this new arrival? Probably new arrival - though this falling from the sky thing was less than ideal, Peter hoped they weren't going to have others that showed up this way, or else he'd have to talk to Tony about maybe setting up some sort of permanent netting over the town just to be safe.
But he'd think about that later, first there was this, the guy who had fallen not just out of the sky, but nearly straight through his webbing and now lay on the ground. He was wearing a costume though, so maybe he was powered too, maybe that meant that falling out of the sky the way he had didn't mean he was now dead. Peter was prepared for a great many things, but this was somehow not one of them.
"Uh," Peter was much better with like people who were screaming for help, who just needed to be caught and moved out of harms way, but this - this was something else all together. He reached out carefully, slowly like he expected some sort of something to strike out oat him and went to press his fingers to the guy's neck, feeling for a pulse. "Okay, okay, okay," He breathed mostly to calm his own nerves. "You're not dead right? Cause like that'd really ruin my night."
