Who: The whole town. Yes, you too.
What: The Great Snowball War of 2k19
Where: The whole town
When: December 1

She had heard a great deal about this snow ball game that was going to be played and Nebula was ready for it, had been since it had first been explained to her by Sirius. But apparently they had needed to wait until there was enough snow for such a thing? Though how much snow was enough was not something she had understood, what made for enough? These were all questions she still had.

But the town had been covered in a blanket of snow over the last several weeks, with large piles of it build up along the edges of town as well as butted up against their houses where the snow had been blown during the days where it had been windier than others. And it seemed that they had finally reached that point of enough, though she saw no particular difference in the amount compared to some other days. This would be her first time though so she supposed that she could allow the others to decide when it was ready for their game.

And so there they were ready for the snowball game, teams dividing up, some playing individually, and others pairing up, as she and Remus planned to do - it was time for a great battle.

EVERY LOSER

Stan basically just took the words right out of Eddie's mouth just with a little more laughter and a lot less anger. He had just moved from the back wall to try and see if Stan was right, if Bev was really climbing up a tree when he had to duck just a little behind the wall Stan had built because Richie had appeared and just started hurly snowballs at them, like a madman. No one was hit thus far but a few of them came a little close and it was clear who the target was. He could work with that.

Popping up again with a neatly packed snowball he froze when he caught a good glimpse of Richie. Sure, he had gloves on and a sweater but there was a distinct lack of a coat and no hat. Eddie stared at the other, obviously upset by this revelation and it was probably a good idea that Stan was reminding him of the plan because he wanted nothing more than to climb over that neatly packed barrier and just tear into the other man.

He settled, instead, for throwing snowballs at the idiot. Angrily. Hurling them as hard and as fast as he could. He'd fucking murder Richie with snow for this! "Where the fuck is your coat, Richie?!"

This was a fucking disaster.

Eddie and Stan had shit aim, Richie had a distinct lack of depth perception and Beverly was over in a tree throwing snowballs that weren't making it near far enough. And she'd already been spotted. Richie backed up anyway -- a little more out of surprise than actually keeping with their plan (although there was that, too). Eddie was pissed. Case in point - one of his snowballs actually made contact and Richie had to pause his own frantic throwing in order to look utterly betrayed. It was just his shoulder, but still.

"I gave it to a lady!" He shouted back, shoes slipping a little in the snow even as he took another few steps back. Sure, the lady was Bev, and it was for the express purpose of carrying more snow, but Eddie didn't need to know that. Or Stan. But at least Stan was laughing.
