She had heard a great deal about this snow ball game that was going to be played and Nebula was ready for it, had been since it had first been explained to her by Sirius. But apparently they had needed to wait until there was enough snow for such a thing? Though how much snow was enough was not something she had understood, what made for enough? These were all questions she still had.

But the town had been covered in a blanket of snow over the last several weeks, with large piles of it build up along the edges of town as well as butted up against their houses where the snow had been blown during the days where it had been windier than others. And it seemed that they had finally reached that point of enough, though she saw no particular difference in the amount compared to some other days. This would be her first time though so she supposed that she could allow the others to decide when it was ready for their game.

And so there they were ready for the snowball game, teams dividing up, some playing individually, and others pairing up, as she and Remus planned to do - it was time for a great battle.

It wasn't in his nature to avoid a good time, and especially after getting a good healing from Aziraphale, it left the Glaive eager to get out and about to work out his fresh and healed body. Not knowing where Lunafreya was exactly only having note that she was joining in the mass snow war, he was amidst his own mind looking for his princess.

Of course, instead of finding his blonde beauty his eyes fell on a man he had not had the most interaction with as of yet. The man he knew as Loki's brother, and generally a good guy from all he saw. So, instead of furthering his search for Lunafreya, he would approach the man who would likely be eager to take part in the war games coming, and lets be honest - a god like man as Thor was, would make an excellent teammate.

Holding up a hand in greeting, Nyx called out. "Hey!" And with the man's attention Nyx continued. "Thor, right? Loki's brother?" Finishing just for the confirmation of that before holding his handout to the man. "Nyx. Loki has told me about you." Limited amount, but told him. "I hear there is a fierce battle amidst the snow taking place," A devious smirk crossed his own lips. "What say you, we team up and dominate the playing field."

Thor was never one to run away from any battles. Normally he went running in shouting, ready to fight the good fight all the way to victory. He sill had a tendency to do that but this wasn't a real battle. It was a way to entertain themselves in the snow. Thor still knew he'd win, of course, and gloat in all his revels with a pint of space booze at Pancho's later. That actually sounded pretty great.

He was considering his options, however, because he wasn't entirely certain if there were rules, or if there were specific sides in the war. He thought about fighting on his own; he'd done that plenty as well and felt confident he'd win.

Before he could decide what tactic to take, he heard a voice and saw someone coming toward him. Thor recognized Nyx, and knew of him more through his brother. "Aye, indeed, I am Thor, God of Thunder. If Loki has spoken of me then I am not certain it would be accurate, depending on his mood at the time of the conversation." Or if Thor had recently messed up his soaps or kitchen. "Before we align ourselves, what skills do you possess? Have you thrown a circular collection of snow prior to this day?"

And, the man was just as he expected. Imposing powerful force of godly abilities. Also just as Loki had said, and likely also not likely as Loki said. Really, as much as Nyx liked Loki, it might be best to take what the man had to say regarding people and things. Regardless of those things, Nyx laughed at Thor's probable true and absolutely accurate assessment on Loki.

"Well, I personally much rather take opportunities to make my own assessment." Nyx reassured the other man.

"Skills?" Nyx raised both of his eyebrows. This was already going to prove entertaining. "I assure you, I'll be an adept ally." Having both of his weapons on him, because what soldier left home unarmed he opted to show the god with snow instead. Crouching he started forming a snowball. "Snowball." Nyx corrected Thor. "But I have." He formed another one so he had two. The Glaive walked some feet away from Thor still keeping his casual air about him. "Though for skills," Nyx spun around throwing the first snowball. Nyx had missed Thor and the ball went past Thor about a foot away, but it was the thing after that mattered. Nyx vanished in blue particles just to warp and reappear behind Thor grabbing the snowball he had throw, crushing it in the process. Nyx at that point lightly threw the second snowball at Thor's back to convey the point of his usefulness.

"So. Do I make the cut, mighty Thunder God?" Nyx asked with a smirk.

Thor knew Loki as well as anyone could know his brother. He wasn't sure even Loki knew himself completely, but that was just the way Loki was. But since he did know his brother, he knew that he probably said things that might kind of be true but also be an exaggeration if he was in a bad mood or if Thor had messed with his stuff (granted that would probably make the things Loki said a bit more accurate).

"You pass adequately," he said. "I believe your skills will be useful, however I do not know what the terms are of this particular battle. What designates the winner? Number of hits, or do we simply fight until the bitter end when all others concede defeat? If that is the case, then we shall declare ourselves the winner for I shall never succumb." Thor wasn't afraid of snow. "I will make the proclamation to the townspeople so that they might go back indoors rather than risk losing their limbs to the cold."

It was fair, that over the time of knowing Loki, as much as he liked the guy, and Nyx really did like him - he took somethings Loki said with a hesitation. Plus, over the network, it was hard to miss Thor and his all capital letters and screamed personality. For one, Nyx didn't think Thor was in the slightest an idiot.

Returning to be near Thor Nyx shrugged simply. "Well, snowball fights don't particularly have rules or winning conditions." Placing both of his hands on his hips he tapped a foot. "It's more of a childish sport than anything, but I believe in you, and our victory none the less. For as long as you, my comrade is in the field of battle, I will be also." With a smirk, crouched to start making snowballs. "But first, we need artillery." Looking around to make sure there wasn't anyone around, they'd have to consider their options. "What do you think, do we build a fort, or travel?" Both had their benefits for sure.

In Thor's opinion, it was always best to take the things Loki said, put them through his own Thor-Filter, and then address them with Thor-Logic. That was usually how to figure out what to do or how to respond. And that was also usually how he got stabbed, but it also sometimes seemed to work in his favor. Or at least, it got him to the point where Loki was so exacerbated by him that he couldn't be bothered to stab him. But putting that through the Thor-Filter and then spun by Thor-Logic meant that he was doing something right? Something like that.

And if Nyx didn't think he was an idiot, then hey, he was definitely doing things right.

"You are most noble, Warrior of the Night, and shall make a worthy companion in battle," he said. "Victory shall snow down upon us and we shall have revels and merriment in celebration in the form of many libations afterward." Thor gave him a good, sound clap on the back. "I believe first we should travel to find a place to build a fort."

When it came to Loki, Nyx just - tried not to get stabbed. A strange cat and mouse game to be honest, but one that Nyx was willing to have in his life. Of course, it was very obvious that Nyx was well and able to avoid stabbings here and now with Thor.

It was a strange surge of pride being called noble by the god, which was very lost from thought when he was clapped on his back. Now Nyx was many things. He was fast. He was strong. He was damn determined. These were heavy qualities of his, but even still, when Thor hit his back he still staggered. Keeping his footing, Nyx dropped one of the few snowballs he had made and glanced to the man.

Well, this was going to be interesting. "Then we shall travel, and stake our claim on top of the hill, yes?" Nyx elbowed the man in his ribs and started walking in a direction. "Victory only finds those who seek it after all."

Trying to avoid getting stabbed by Loki was no easy feat. At least, for Thor but that was probably more because he didn't actually try that hard. He liked doing things that provoked the stabbing even though he didn't like the actual stabbing.

It would be interesting for sure, but in Thor's mind he had no doubt they would achieve their victory. For someone like him, that was the only option. They couldn't lose, because Thor didn't lose. Well. He actually had lost. He'd lost everything back home. But that was precisely why he refused to lose here. He wouldn't consider any alternative but winning.

"Verily," he replied, and a low chuckle rumbled in his throat when the other man elbowed his ribs. He enjoyed a rousing exchange of jest. "Let us seek the high ground, and we shall pummel our enemies with balls of snow for we shall see them upon their approach."

Weird sentiment holding not being stabbed by Loki as endearing. But there it was. Not being stabbed yet as something that he held dear to himself regarding Loki.

Something the men shared in common. Often, Nyx looked at losing as not an option. Even in his death, it wasn't a loss to him. It was victory of incredible scale that paved the way for Lunafreya. Worth ever drop of blood of his spilled, or the pain from the magic burning himself inside out. In his sacrifice, those who needed a fighting chance were given just that.

Plus the revenge was so sweet.

Nyx started walking but turned around to walk backwards pointing at Thor. "Yes. We will show them why we are the greatest warriors in town, but," He smirked a devious grin. "I am going to get more hits than you." Nyx challenged with a coy tone.

Not getting stabbed was definitely a 'win' situation. Though, honestly, what Thor preferred most was doing something to provoke the stabbing but then managing to get himself out of actually being stabbed. That was really a true victory. Well. He supposed just getting Loki's attention in a positive way would be the best, but beggars couldn't be choosers.

Thor had lost too much to consider losing an option ever again. Even in something as trivial as a snowball fight, he was determined to reign victorious. Pairing that drive to win with his pride made it all the more crucial he and Nyx win.

When Nyx challenged him, Thor actually laughed and again pat him on the shoulder. "I truly enjoy your jest, Nyx the noble. It is an honor to battle in your company."
