Who: Bill Weasley and Beverly Marsh
What: Meeting that Bev
Where: The Garden
When: November 29th

There was usually a distinct lack of beautiful redheads unless he was looking in the mirror, so when Bill saw one walking toward him he had a reasonable idea of who it was even without an introduction. Richie and his friends, who'd all been arriving one after the other had all been through something that Bill was happy not to know the details about. They'd showed up covered in blood, shaking and ruined and Bill knew when to stay out of the way. But he also knew when to offer a smile and a wave as Beverly got closer. They reached each other just outside the garden and Bill leaned against the gate, his arms crossing comfortably across his chest.

"Look at you, shoes and everything, huh love?" He said with a smile. "I'm Bill," he added because there was a lot of new people and it could be a bit much all at once. "And this is where I work some of my more impressive magic." The garden was thriving, even if the rest of the town was covered in snow, the garden remained green and luscious and free of the white blanket that was on everything else.

"Come on, I'll show you my tomatoes, they're fantastic," he said as he opened the gate to usher her inside."

Bill poured them both a cup of coffee, adding milk to his own and a little sugar because why not. It was a handy skill, one of a few, he'd watched the muggles there and they made do rather astoundingly without magic but Bill knew what side of the wand he'd prefer to be on. "One of many," he promised cheerfully.

Most of the time Bill got by not talking about himself, choosing the company of men did tend to ensure they wouldn't ask too many questions or delve too deeply. But women, well they were clever and usually cared to know as much as possible. "Bill is short for William, oldest of seven, grew up in Devon and before here I was working and living in Egypt," he said lifting the mug to take a sip. The tray and coffee pot had drifted over to find itself somewhere to rest and Bill continued the tour past the magical garden and around to the other side.

"Oldest of seven? That must have made for an interesting upbringing - you probably babysat a lot?" Beverly guessed, sipping on her coffee, aka, turbo fuel to give her a little pep to her step. She followed Bill, curious about everything, the mug held between her hands. It was so warm and lush in here, like any greenhouse - much better than being outside in the cold.

She hadn't traveled much, which was something she'd hoped to fix once she escaped Derry for the second time - of course, she didn't even get a chance to leave the town before turning around and ending up here, so. Maybe the doors would count, if she went through and got to hop in between wormholes or however it worked.

"What was your favorite part about Egypt?" It sounded like someplace to add to her bucket list.
