WHO: Galen Marek and Barbara Gordon.
WHAT: Fake Sibling Bonding.
WHERE: Somewhere between her and his homes.
WHEN: Wednesday Afternoon.
RATING: Low.

It was snowing. It was white, it was fluffy, and it was cold. Galen loved it. Letting Lucario go off about on his own, and he sure the hell left the flamingo standing around in the house. Galen though, was wanting to see and for lack of better words, play in the snow. Growing up, he had heard of the stuff and even was told of planets that was covered in the stuff. Hoth might have been one of them, but being the sheltered and tortured child that he was - he had never had the chance to experience it himself. Just like the beach and the ocean with Leia. This was a first for him.

The snow was piling up, but still easy enough to traverse. Kicking his feet a little extra he saw how the snow would roll in on itself some. Interesting enough.

Crouching, Galen put his hand in the snow and felt the cold and wetness on his skin. It was both fluffy, but heavy and wet. It was incredibly interesting, that was for sure. With both hands he started scooping and making a ball out of the snow. Now with the snowball in his hand he tossed it up and down. It was heavy and solid, but fragile. The thing was, now that he had it - what did he do with it now? That was when he felt a small shift in the Force. Weird. Turning towards the presence he felt, it was then he felt the cold and wet ball hit him in the face. A moment of blindness, and the musical sound of laughter erupting. He knew that tone and that voice. A low playful growl built in his throat. "Barbara." He said. "You should know better than pick a fight with me." He wiped the snow from his face with his hand and the side of his sleeve from his t-shirt.

She made a face right back at him, "I'll figure it out eventually, so really you just ought to tell me now." She reasoned, in spite of the defiant look on his face. "Okay, that is not how that saying goes, first of all - and second of all, I think you and I both know that you've got a flare for the dramatic just a bit in all of this." She teased him, unworried about actually being a liar or not, when it was all in teasing Galen it hardly mattered.

She rolled her eyes as he suggested what his plan might be if the time came when he was truly faced with a snow angel competition. "Anyone ever tell you that you're a brat?" She asked him, though she was nearly positive she was the only one who ever had dared such a thing. He wasn't quite as bad as she thought he had the potential to be, but there was definitely big brat energy that rolled off Galen nearly constantly.

"Like you said, it's complicated." She agreed of his assessment of the navigation of relationships. "There are times when mutual attraction and even desire aren't enough to make a relationship work." She told him. "And sometimes that's all they are for years before you finally manage to push it just a little bit further into a different kind of relationship. You just have to be honest with one another, believe her when she tells you she's not ready, but also when she tells you she wants something more." She told him, it was a difficult thing, even she had trouble making relationships work. So she might not be the best person to be advising him, but she tried all the same.

Barbara shook her head, sending snow flying from her hair as she laughed leaning down to scoop up another handful of snow and threw it at him. "I didn't cause any of this, this was all your doing."

Galen gasped. "How dare you? My sources are secret and I will never give them up!" Of course, it wasn't that big of deal, considering he had gone through a lot of learning since coming to Starklandia. While she was teasing him for his theatrics and getting the silly analogy wrong, Starkiller was more interested in the interaction between the two. More often he was finding himself wanting more of it.

Her reaction was exactly as he expected it to be, which brought a solid laugh from Galen, but he still had a question. "Brat? What is that?" He world and the names which they called each other, was strange, but more and more he was learning them. Not many danced the line of calling him names, and most who had regretted it. Richie being the last to run his mouth. Despite his more violent reactions, he did try his best of late not to go down that path. Between Barbara and Leia, it gave him purpose to behave.

"I am not sure I understand fully what all of it means, or how to act." Galen answered honestly. "I understand there is this hesitation. I can sense it." He paused thinking. "But then there is those moments where it doesn't matter." Starkiller sighed softly. "People are complicated creatures, and I think I understand part of the reason why my master had kept me from them."

Though with the snow thrown at him, Galen just held his hand up and stopped the snow midair. "See, I told you, you only get me once." He smirked brightly. "Because you had to just start something.." He teased before dismissing the snow with a wave of his hand letting it fall to the ground.
