boy wonder ([info]ohboywonder) wrote in [info]snapthread,
Babs and Dick
If there was anyone he'd want to be stuck in a creepy abandoned hotel in, it was Barbara Gordon. Granted, he could say that about literally any location and it'd be true. Violent alley in Gotham? Barbara. Tropical island with ocean front views? Barbara. She wasn't the same Barbara from his world, but that didn't matter. This was their world, currently (well, not the creepy hotel, but the town they were living in), and they belonged to each other in it. That was simple enough for Dick, and he liked learning about the differences and similarities in their worlds. It was fun, getting to know each other all over again. Falling in love with her all over again. What a victory that was.

Dick was not setting foot in that maze. They were highly skilled in a number of ways, but freakish corn maze navigation wasn't something he could say was on his list of abilities and he wasn't about to push that. "Er.." He thought he heard something. Was that a child's voice? "Did you hear that? Please say no so we can ignore it." He definitely didn't want to investigate that but knew there was no way they couldn't if she'd heard it too.
