Richie Trashmouth Tozier ([info]trashmouthloser) wrote in [info]snapthread,
The Losers
"I'm not arguing, I'm just pointing out the facts," Richie said, but there was something in his tone that implied he might well argue if it got a rise out of Eddie. Boyfriend (and oh, jesus, he'd probably lose his mind completely in giddiness if he knew that was the word Eddie had for them) or not, Richie was still a little shit. "And who doesn't know about skeevy motels?" He asked, a little defensive. "I've seen movies." No, he didn't know about them personally, but it wasn't like Richie had been well behaved and perfect in his youth, either.

He wasn't quite sure anyone deserved to be robbed or murdered just because they didn't know the Risk Analyst side of not getting a place with a keycard, and he might have said so but jesus fucking christ those kids were creepy, and Eddie might have just thought he was being an over dramatic idiot, but Richie didn't like the way the girls smiled in unison, or the way they both, at the same time, suggested that Richie and Eddie come play with them.

The doors closed though, and Richie sure as fuck didn't get on with them. Nope. They'd wait for the next one. "Fuck no," he said, and it was still sort of on edge even as the elevator dinged off and went down, down, down without them.

He didn't hate kids, okay? He just had realized recently that their potential for being the creepiest little fucks in the room was super fricking high. "I-- uh," he said, still not feeling right, heart racing a little and feeling stupid for it because Eddie was just being a sarcastic little asshole about it. "Wait. Do you want kids?"
