Who: Sirius Black, Eddie Kaspbrak What: Building a hammock Where: The Loser’s House When: Saturday, 10-12
Admittedly, Sirius hadn’t really been the most helpful of the adults during this whole children debacle. Sure, he’d shrunk a few items down and helped a tiny version of Tony Stark find some groceries, but he wasn’t out there offering to feed kids thrice daily or setting up playpens or whatever it was the rest of the people in town were doing. Mostly because — well. When he’d been a younger thing (not all that long ago — Sirius wasn’t especially old, he’d only turned twenty less than a month ago now) he would have done an awful lot of things to have the kind of freedom these kids were having right now.
Some needed help though, and Sirius wasn’t the sort of wizard or man to ignore someone when they were asking for it. Or when they talked about how shit their mum was. Because if nothing else? He got that. So he left a note for Remus, stuck his wand in his back pocket and then got to gathering a few things that he’d need to transfigure the absolute best hammock that wizardry could make.
The thing about little Eddie was, Sirius didn’t know him. So he wasn’t even really all that sure if he was a kid on accident this week or if he’d shown up that way or not. He also hadn’t thought to ask where he lived. But Starklandia was rather small, and no other houses had initials carved into a spot that was bizarrely low down on the door. Or at all really. But there it was. R + E. It didn’t take anyone clever to figure that one out and Sirius was clever.
