Who: Starkiller and Leia Organa.
What: Meeting.
Where: Outside Pancho's.
When: Tuesday mid-morning.

Alright, that Nyx guy wasn't so bad. He was so much nicer than his master and gave him all sorts of snacks. Despite saying he was only serving meals at the designated times, he was willing to make sure all of them different kids were fed in someway or the other. Providing snacks and he saw games on a table in the bar. So, Starkiller liked the guy Nyx. Though not enough not to use the Force to knock over the pan of food off the stove before leaving, causing chaos in that kitchen.

Walking out the door, Starkiller was snacking on a candy bar with his arms full of other different snacks to keep him company. Well him, and Frank (he decided to name it) the strange pink bird he found in the house he woke up in. The bird was nice and wanted to be his friend, but the big strange dog like thing just gave him a little distance at first, but ultimately it decided to investigate him. Starkiller tried sharing a conversation with the thing, and it understood him but Starkiller couldn't understand a thing from the big creature. Regardless they had come to agreement that he was leaving and getting snacks.

While leaving, Starkiller almost collided with a girl. Staring at the girl while dodging to not make impact, his eyes stayed on the brunette. Wow. She was pretty. There was a silence from Starkiller while he shifted to keep hold of all the snacks he was leaving with, then a Honk! from Frank snapped the boy back to reality. "Um. Hey!" He offered a greeting to the girl. "What are you doing?" He looked to the bird and back to the girl. "I was about to go eat these by the lake with Frank, you want some?" He offered, because well - it felt like the thing he should do for this girl.

Starkiller wasn't sure he was on the same page as Leia regarding the good to be done to help others, but he would acknowledge her words none the less. "Mmfm." Was the noise made by the teen with food stuffed in his mouth.

"Well, it's home I guess." Starkiller thought about before stuffing more snacks into his mouth. "I get to see all the different fighters and ships come and go. My master said I need to be kept secret, so he keeps me with the soldiers. They don't talk to me though, all I have is PROXY or master when ever he comes around." He looked sad for a moment before pushing it all aside. "But that's okay. I'll be trained and then I'll be strong and powerful!" He said with a happy tone, of his youth still not fully robbed from him.

"Alderaan?" It sounded familiar, but it wasn't exactly high on the list of things he was to learn about. "Is it nice there? I haven't seen a lot of places." In fact, he really hadn't seen anywhere in comparison of most people.

"Thanks, my master gave it to me." Starkiller said proudly as he stuffed food into his yap as they approached the lake. Carefully the young Sith in training found a place to sit down while Frank ran ahead to find a place to stand in the shore line. "It's nothing different for me." Starkiller started. "I never was told what to do, other than to train." But that was almost all the time. "Which I suppose I don't have to do here." He muttered softly.

Secrets? Well that sounded impressive, but Leia was beginning to wonder if he was making things up a little here. All this talk about soldiers and a master? Leia had heard that used before, but only when her father told her stories about the Jedi. They’d been gone for a long time though and it wasn’t safe to be one any more. Master Obi-Wan he would tell her, was a good man.

“Alderaan’s pretty much the most beautiful planet in the whole galaxy-” Leia assured him, without question, her own pride shining through now as she beamed. “There’s mountains with snow on them- and lots of lakes- and forests.” Plus so many kinds of animals. Leia really liked learning about all the different species of her homeworld. “Maybe when we go back you could come visit? Do you think you’d be allowed?” Yeah she’d known him all of five seconds, but she was keen to make friends outside the sort of people her parents introduced her to and told her she ought to know and be friendly with. Starkiller would be someone she got to invite.

Leia plonked to a sit right next to him, and dropped the snacks in a pile that would suit between them. She rested her knees up, brushing a little dirt off the leg of her jeans. “Really?” Leia’s eyes went wide. “No one tells you what to do? You’re lucky.” Did he know how lucky he was? Training sounded better than what she had to do daily. “People never stop telling me what to do.” Her sigh was on the verge of dramatic as Leia polished off the current little packets of snacks and munched away.

Starkiller mused over not having to train. Well that'd been her whole point! "Not if you don't want to. Duh." A snarky face going along with her tease, before she was grinning again. “What are you training for, anyway?” She asked with a brow arched, because he kept talking about it. The teen had now started sucking on her fingers to get the last of the powdery seasoning and flavour off them. Yeah, she’d really have been told off for that. “Is that secret too?” She was starting to eye him with a slightly skeptical look now, he was talking about keeping things secret and training. He wasn’t a liar, was he?

Well, not all secrets were allowed to be shared with just anyone. Like this girl he just met. She could be a spy for who knows who. Even the Emperor. How could he trust it? Well, he couldn't mostly.

"Alderaan sounds pretty great." Starkiller acknowledged. "When I get back, I very much would like to visit it - if my master would allow it that is." There was hesitation, as he thought about if he would even ask, knowing how Vader would respond about all of that. With a good ole fashioned ass kicking. "I want to see snow, and mountains." Starkiller acknowledged also. "That sounds all very great!" Ultimately, the teen needed to figure out what he was supposed to do to make it happen.

While they were now sitting, Starkiller really started to dive into the snacks. Sticking to some of the sweeter snacks, Starkiller nodded. "Nope. Only time I don't have my own time to do things is when I'm training." He noted. "So, that fills a lot of time." He sighed some. It was a lot of the time, to be honest.

There was some hesitation. "Okay." Starkiller smirked. "You can't tell anyone though." He leaned over closer. "My master wants to overthrow the Emperor, and he says my power is too untrained though could be matched to his, so he's training me to help do it." There was a smile on his face while he stuffed a Twinkie in his mouth before continuing despite food being in his mouth. "I ght tu oose ah lghtserber." He told her, then swallowing the food. "Oh!" Looking around he saw a stick. Holding his hand out and really focusing, the stick levitated and floated to him.

"Pretty cool huh!?"

“I bet my Dad could make it happen. Or Mom.” Leia decided, she didn’t know for sure, but there were times she was able to get her way - and if the Princess desperately wanted a friend to be able to see Alderaan for the first time ever surely he’d allow it? He lived in a hangar! As much as she hated all the rules and etiquette surrounding her, Leia recognised how powerful her parents were.

Leia leaned in to listen, jaw slack as she listened keenly, her jaw dropping, and eyes going wide. “Overthrow the Empire?” She just about hissed in his ear in complete disbelief.

She wasn’t an idiot, and she liked to listen in on conversations. Whilst she was sheltered from a lot of things - Bail and Breha didn’t entirely hide the state of the galaxy from their daughter, the older she grew, the more questions she had. The Empire, she knew was a negative thing; their rule allowed things like slavery, there were planets denied basic needs, things were not as they should be. She hated the structure and much about being royalty, but Bail would not let her be spoiled, as much as one could prevent an only child, and Princess from as much. She was fortunate, and privileged, and when she grew old enough, she needed to give back to others and use her status to protect them.

But as a Queen, Breha could see Alderaan provide relief and aid where it could. As a senator her father could do his best to prevent the Empire allowing worlds to suffer. But there was only so much. What Starkiller said his master wanted to do? Was so much more. “My family hates the Empire too-” Leia near whispered in reply, as if it was her own secret, she was never allowed to be so blatant. Never. It’d mean big trouble. “I want to be able to make the galaxy a better place-” And no Empire seemed the best way to achieve that.

But it might also mean he’d be allowed to visit.

Starkiller made her laugh as he tried to talk through a mouthful, she couldn’t understand a word he said, she snorted a soft ‘gross’ in his direction - but forgot to ask more able it as she watched what he could do her hazel eyes going wide. “How did you do that?!” Leia gasped, truly amazed. “Now do it with one of those treats!” She practically commanded, grinning wide as she held out her palm, indicating it should go there.

It was cute and something Starkiller admired about the girl already, was her desire to try and make something special happen. Though, Master Vader would not be persuaded by some mere politicians, unfortunately.

"It's true!" Starkiller exclaimed as if his word just left it as fact.

Though they were moving onto other things, like how her parents also hated the Empire. See, Starkiller wasn't sure on the why the Empire was bad or why his master wanted to remove the Emperor from power, especially using him to do such. Just the thing he knew, was that since being in the presence of his master, and under his dedicated training, Starkiller was going to become very powerful. "Well. When I destroy the Emperor, then your parents wont have to worry." There was a pause as something itched and pulled at him. "Then you wont have to worry Leia!" Bouncing up to his feet, the young teen turned and faced Leia putting both his hands on his hips.

"Leia!" Starkiller offered a smile. "I'll defeat the Empire for you!" And his master, but those were minor details.

Though while she wanted another demonstration of the Force he dropped to his knees. "It's the Force.." Starkiller started explaining what he had learned from his master - well the minor details and not the things like choking people with it. Holding his hand out, he shakily moved a candy bar from the ground to set on her palm. "I'm still learning it, but it's really cool!"

That wasn't quite how she thought it all worked, the way her father spoke, the need for the senate and the work she would go on to do following in his steps - as a senator. Bail did all he could and in time, she would too. She would extend the help she could provide right under the Empire’s nose. That sounded a lot more fun than being royalty.

Leia’s surprise was clear as Starkiller burst out that he was going to defeat the Empire for her - and whilst she wondered how a child could do that. Perhaps when he was grown up, like she was, he and his master really could do that and it would allow the peace her father talked about to be restored - Leia had witnessed most around her behaving with acceptance and compliance to the Empire, they even spoke of what the Emperor had restored and how the corruption of the Jedi council could have meant so much worse for the galaxy - but they didn’t see things that Leia did. Her parents wouldn’t let her believe just because she wasn’t affected by something, that it didn’t matter, if anything it mattered more that she was in a place to do more for those without choices.

She gave a laugh, not of disbelief, but a hope of sorts - smile wide, no one would have to wait for the slow, gradual and measured ways of changing things, the Empire would be gone, they could change things immediately.

The thing that had her believe him was his demonstration of the The Force, and she stared, her wide eyes following the chocolate bar as it floated and dropped into her awaiting hand. “Wow-” She breathed, deciding she’d better eat it immediately, tearing off the wrapper and chomping, she only gulped enough of it down to talk. “Maybe you really can-” She said, of his promise to defeat the Emperor. “I thought the Force wasn’t even real anymore.” Already she’d got a bit of chocolate on her face. “I wish I could do that- I bet you get up to ALL kinds of stuff when you’ve got magic like that.” Well sort of magic. It could be used for fun too, right?

How was Starkiller going to do it?! He was going to train and become the best. He was going to attack the Emperor and kill him. That was how he was going to do that. He'd destroy the man, and his master would become the new Emperor and he would finally become his true apprentice. There would be peace, and he would be able to visit Leia on her planet like they would want. This was exactly how it would play out, and he knew it already!

Their smiles matched each other. Wide and full of hope. It was still early for Starkiller to have his humanity ripped from him after all.

"Of course I can!" Starkiller proclaimed as he picked up another snack himself and ate it. "When I'm big I'll be so strong that I could fight the entire Empire and people will respect and fear the name Starkiller!" Starkiller promised along. "The Force is very real! It's everywhere. Everyone has it in them, and in everything." There was some thought about it some before he nodded. "Or something like that. My master is still training me!"

"I do somethings, but I'm forbidden to use it around people normally - so you can't tell anyone, okay?" Starkiller put his finger to his lips and made a "Shhhh" noise at her with a small chuckle.

“Fear?” Leia gave him a look, it seemed to snap her out of of the celebrations a little. “We want to be better than the Empire, not just like it-” Leia noted with almost a noble sort of tilt to her chin, she believed this whole-heartedly, that much was clear. It wasn’t a matter of taking the place of the Empire, but returning freedom to the galaxy, letting worlds live as they had under the Old Republic. “All the Empire does is make others suffer to- gain more power.” Her brows creased as she thought about it, chocolate bar finished, as she wiped a smudge off her mouth with the back of her hand. “You don’t have to be feared to be respected or powerful.” Her mother was her example in this, one she looked up to with perfect awe, as much as the Princess would complain about her duties - the respect and reverence Breha commanded through her compassionate, and intelligent ways as Queen.

Leia was being raised in the pacifist ways of Alderaan; however to her it was growing clear it would take more for the Empire to fall. Starkiller’s name was fearsome, and a bit strange. But he didn’t have to be entirely that way. Maybe the Empire would have to be fought against, but control would go back to the senate, and individual worlds. But she didn’t hold his words against him - they were together on this.

“I want to be trained too.” She said softly, already sounding deflated. Her father was making her wait for combat lessons until she was at least sixteen. As Starkiller assured this was all a secret, Leia made a locking motion at her lips, and tossed aside the invisible key. “I’ll keep all your secrets.”

"The Empire will fear me." Starkiller reaffirmed. "Just because ruling in fear isn't the right way, doesn't mean having them fear me while I dismantle them isn't wrong." Or was it. Truly the thoughts sort of shifted about never really landed on one particularly stranded spot. Master Vader always told him, he was to be his apprentice and his weapon against the Jedi and the Emperor when the time was right. Starkiller was just determined to make sure that time was sooner than later. "Don't have to be, but some bullies don't respond to anything but that, so wouldn't it be worth while to use it as a tool?" Like using him. That was right? Though, what even if he didn't want to be used anymore? Which was confusing him some.

"Well, maybe I can teach you to fight!" Starkiller jumped up. "I can do that much! I can't train you in the Force, but at least you can punch a jerk in the face." He laughed. "Come on. Let me show you how to punch." What was the harm in showing his new friend how to defend herself. Everyone should know how to fight, at least that's what he believed since Vader was training him anyway.

“Well- that’s okay. I guess.” Leia tried to reason, even if she’d been taught that fighting bullies wasn’t the right way, even if you were really, really mad and they were the worst kind of person. But it was hard not to think that way - ending the Empire would help the entirety of the galaxy. It didn’t really sound like he wanted to be like them either. Her father wouldn’t have liked that idea at all, she kept on thinking about that. “Just so long as neither of us do things their way after they’re gone.”

The idea of learning how to fight was immediately appealing to Leia, that much plain in her expression as she made a delighted sort of noise. “Really?” She beamed. Again, Bail would hardly have approved, but he wouldn’t know, and she would tell him even when she returned home. There were some kids at her school that might just end up deserving it. Leia attempted a sort of defensive pose and then jabbed a fist at the air in front of her, somewhat awkwardly. “Like this?” She asked, brightly.

"No. I'm going to be better." Starkiller declared. He was going to be even better than his master someday. The galaxy would tremble in fear of his power, when he became a Sith. That was for sure, and what his master told him. "I don't want to do things their way." But also, he wasn't sure what way he wanted to do things when he helped his master remove the Emperor. Then they would rule in his stead. Starkiller was certain that his master would rule differently than the Emperor. Why else would he want to remove the man, and place himself into power.

While her punch would have worked, possibly, Starkiller laughed softly. "No." His laugh was fun, and not even teasing. "Let me help you a bit.." Starkiller helped her get positioned right and explained how to strike. Of course, her hits wouldn't be the same as his, but she could at least defend herself better than that what he just saw. It was fun to have this friend to teach, at least!

"Yeah! That's how the galaxy should be- a better place than it is now." That's kind of what her Dad meant when he said they could all do better? Care for their fellow beings, let worlds stand up for themselves and not be ruled by tyranny. That was how terrible things happened, when one corrupt man wanted to tell everyone how to live, he could make up any rule he wanted. Of course her mother was one person, ruling a world, but that was different? Alderaan was a good place, people were happy.

"No one should- slavery, worlds not allowed to live as they should." She turned a little grim, people around her seemed not to acknowledge that, they wanted to celebrate the structure the Empire brought, the 'unity'. "Those things can't ever be allowed to happen again." She voiced as if she hoped he felt the same, trying very hard to sound noble and wise and older than thirteen. It wasn't really to impress him, well not only that - she believed them too. Very much.

But, it seemed the topic was not so heavy, she couldn't have a little fun, focused now on what he would teach her. Leia kept laughing as he tried to show her what to do, but eventually, she held her posture just as he guided, and jabbed her fist in a way that seemed to be right, a gruff little sound going along with it. “How’s that?” She grinned, her skinny arm going slack by her side again. "Better?"

Under his master, it had to be better - right!? His master was so strong and so powerful. Then after he got strong enough, maybe he would be the one to replace his master and rule the galaxy. His eyes started at Leia, his heart beating more rapidly before looking away. That was weird. What was that he just felt - it was almost as if he was short of breath.

While she made a second attempt and dropped her arm relaxed, Starkiller flicked her ear lightly. "Yes, but you brought your guard down." He laughed at her while he brought his arms up in a stance to show her how she should stand. Explaining each posture and the why, just as he was taught. Well, with less being hit. Starkiller wouldn't hit Leia. This was fun though, helping her learn to defend herself. "You'll get it and be a fighter quick enough!" Starkiller told her proudly.
