Who: All the town kids who want in
What: Hot Tub Party
Where: Tony's house
When: Today

This place was great, his dad wasn't around and he didn't have classes or tutors or anything to bother him. And he had a house full of bots and his pokemon, it was quite possibly the coolest place he'd ever been and people were coming over, it was gonna be a party!

Sure he didn't do much in the way of planning but he had his fridge full of cheese and there were drinks everywhere and Dum-E would totally make juice if people wanted it, it seemed to be about all he could do but Tony loved him and he was glad to have him there.

And well .... it was gonna be cool, he'd never had a party before, not with kids his own age so he was ready and he was antsy kind of pacing a little bit while he waited for people to show up. And just when he thought he had it all ready Tony realized there was one thing left he needed and quickly found a piece of paper and some tape scribbling a hasty note and taping it outside on his door.

Come on in! It's party time.
No adults allowed!!!

"I don't think you're allowed to have any of that." The sentence came from Bucky's left, but it wasn't directed at Bucky. It'd come from Peter Quill -- who was disappointed to see that his new and very green friend Gamora wasn't at this party -- but who had come with a backup plan in terms of a friend anyway. On top of the table of drinks, his little Cubone had climbed up and was now poking at bottles, glass and plastic, with a bone.

Cubone was the absolute best but he was kind of a troublemaker. "Tell him," he said to the boy next to him, eyes big and green and a little pleading. "He's not allowed to have drinks like that, because he's only little." Peter was also rather only little, but he was sort of considering trying something on the table out, if only because it was there and he was curious.

Bucky hadn't been sure what he'd get into at this party. He'd never been to one without any kind of adult chaperone, but he thought it was pretty great that those kinds of parties existed. Because sometimes grown-ups were really pretty lame and put a damper on the fun. Or they would try to insert themselves into the fun and that just made everything super awkward. The only thing about this part was, he didn't really know anyone? But then he also felt like he knew everyone. It was super weird but he was still glad to be there.

"Huh? Who?" He looked around and then saw some sort of creature on the table poking at things with -- was that a bone? Okay. That was weird. It wasn't that he thought the kid next to him was weird or even that the creature itself was weird. The whole setting was. Poking a drink with a bone wasn't something you saw everyday.

"Oh, yeah, you should probably hold off of that little fella," he said. "But we can pr'olly find something for you." He shifted his gaze to the boy next to him. "What's his name? Do you know what he can have to eat and drink? I'd hate to just have him have to look at everything and not have any. Also what is he? I've never seen anything like that."

Peter might argue that poking things with bones was something he saw every day. Because this little Pokemon did it pretty much constantly. And that was before he got angry, was just curious mode, really. Mind, he was pretty aware that his little friend did look pretty strange at first glance. There weren't a lot of animals around here (or anywhere else that he knew of) that went around wearing someone else's skull all while looking super freaking adorable.

He looked rather relieved when the other boy went and agreed with him -- and more pleased when he offered to help find something appropriate for his friend. That was nice. Much better than some of the other kids in town who were actually kinda mean. "His name's Cubone," he said with a shrug. "He's a Cubone." Peter Quill was, apparently, not wildly imaginative with names. To his credit, Cubone did say his own name an awful lot so it didn't seem like he'd chosen wrong. "He likes berries."

Bucky probably would've been way more weirded out if he hadn't had some odd creatures living in the house that was apparently his, too. A pink dog who walked on two feet, a big turtle with a twig on his head, a big fluffy sheep who could shock you, and weirdest of all a loud goat who wore sunglasses all lived there with him, Clint, and Lucky. Yeah. Bucky had seen some weird shit in the last few days. Plus this whole place was weird, wasn't it? It sure as hell wasn't Brooklyn but it still felt like home, so. Whatever. He was just rolling with it at this point and now there was some kind of thing with a skull and a bone and that was just how it was.

"Cubone," he said, and smiled a bit. "He's pretty cool looking, huh?" Because weird as it was, yeah, it was cool. Just like the pink dog and the rest of the zoo he lived with. "I dunno if we'll find any berries in Tony's refrigerator but maybe he could try some cheese. Just a little a first to make sure he doesn't get a belly ache. What do you think, Cubone?" Because if this little guy was anything like the creatures at his house, they kinda understood when you talked to them even if they couldn't talk back.

Yeah, there were a few weirdo creatures here -- Tony had one too. It probably would have seemed weirder to Peter if he didn't live on a space ship with a blue guy who threatened to eat him a lot. And heck, he'd even made BEST friends with a little green girl this week so -- well. everything sort of just fell into stride after stuff like that. A little bone friend wasn't too weird.

Still, he appreciated the help even though he wasn't sure about cheese. Then again, he liked cheese too and Cubone didn't seem too picky -- mostly Peter just didn't want him drinking at all. So he nodded his head to the left and right, just gave it a good bob and found some cheese to break up into smaller bits while Cubone wagged his little tail over all the attention. "I guess he'll probably like it. And yeah. He's basically the coolest. Even if he gets kinda sad sometimes."
