What a lovely surprise for the first Monday morning back at work. Thank you, Mystery Author.

I love this story. I've always believed that Snape, at least in the beginning, enjoyed being a Death Eater and earned his place next to Voldemort. The gentle Regulus of this story, who is so far out of his depth with nowhere to turn, also seems to fit very well with what's in canon.

Thank you so very much for this unexpected gift.
