Some writer's resources
snapelike posted some great links to UK weather reseources in a recent post.
I repost the links here, with permission:
A calendar for holidays and moon phases.
A temperature converter.
A BBC Weather Country Guide.
A page for weather stats.
A link to the Met office.
And more stats
The weather news.
Monthly summaries with a grid.
And more about the climate in the UK.

It's rather quiet. Where are the house-warming party-goers? Want an extension? Want your peace or quiet? Enough parties already? I don't think so, I have one planned for April already...

Hm, a longer house-warming party sounds good to me. I've meant to come up with something to celebrate our new home and our beloved Potions master, but have lost track of everything at the moment because my current story takes up all my free time at the moment.
I'm also mulling over the March discussion topic of Snape and Dumbledore, and all the fanfic projects I have planned...so much to write, so little time! ;)
I think an extenstion would be good also. I don't know what I would have done, but I did want to post something.
And resources? Yes, I love them too, and try to collect some here.
Say, though. I had an idea for the housewarming and would like to run it by you guys. We've got the Friday recs, but those really seem more for the new stuff. I was thinking of posting recs for what I think are my all time classic/favourite Snapefics. There are some out there that are very dated, obviously, but there are also some really wonderful stories out there that many newer Snape fans might appreciate but would be unlikely to stumble across. And a few of them could still fit right in. In fact, one of my absolute fave SSOFC fics has an OFC struggling to keep Snape's affections when he is still obsessed by Lily's memory (and it was written several years before DH---honest!) What do you think? Is that in keeping with the housewarming idea?
