Thank you for recommending my story "Snape's Solution." I wrote it in about forty-five minutes one day at work, then spent three or four days polishing it, which is quick work for me. I usually spend weeks polishing, including time letting a story "sit" so I can come back to it with fresh eyes, but this ficlet was inspired by Loten's "Chasing the Sun," and I needed to get it posted before the equivalent chapter in Loten's tale appeared.
I am a big fan of Darkglare's work. I recently finished printing her entire canon in hardcopy. Like you, I wish she would return to her works in progress, especially "Be Careful What You Wish For." For my hardcopy of "Cursed" I have created my own brief concluding chapter, for which I have absolutely no authorization from Darkglare herself. Lily marries Adrian Prewitt and spawns a family of seven redheaded squibs (six girls and a boy), Severus moves to British Columbia and has a highly successful career as a world-famous operatic baritone, and Voldemort is killed by Alastor Gumboil, professional hit wizard.
