How would a surviving Severus seek help in the non-magical world?
Assuming Severus survived Nagini on his own and manged to escape to the non-magical world, how would he go about seeking help with his mental health? What story would he tell? Would he pretend to be an amnesiac? Would he use a non-magical version of (part of) his story? Could he, for instance, claim that he had been involved in gang activity or organized crime without there being an investigation that would reveal the holes in his story? Could he claim to be fleeing from a cult? Would he avoid seeking such help unless forced by something else (for instance if he is hospitalized for a serious physical injury or if a mental health evaluation is required for a job or for receiving some form of government services)?
