In canon, the impostor in book seven who was called Snape is dead, and so is his life-long love interest, Lily. So the Lily/Snape shippers would be the only ones who can call their ship remotely, but only very remotely, in character. Everyone else is in the same boat, on this community.
You can celebrate your ship as much as you want on your ship-related hang-outs.
