I graduated from Reed College in '83, half my older friends were grad students at UW by the next year, why the hell didn't I run into him????! He should've been hanging out around campus sporadically when I was.
I do agree, totally, that Severus would have been, ahm, opposed to bullying in all forms.
If he'd ever had the chance to articulate that.
Music and magic? I won't say, so canon, but so what was left out of JKR's impoverished canon.
