Snarry Introductory Post/Friending Meme...
A number of us have been around for awhile, but lately the mods at [info]snape_potter have been seeing some new names and we thought this might be a good time for folks to introduce themselves. Comment below with as much or as little as you want to tell other Snape and Harry fans about yourself. Even just a line or two about who you are and what you do in Snape/Harry fandom is welcome.

And for those those who are interested in potentially adding some new friends, you may want to copy and paste the template below and fill out your responses from there.

Every Snape and Harry fan is welcome to participate. We hope you will find some interesting new people here and reacquaint yourself with some old friends. ;D

Pimping and spreading the word is appreciated!

How long in Snape/Harry Fandom: Gosh, about two years, although I basically lurked until this year.
Things I do in fandom (reader, writer, artist, vidder, mod, beta, newsletter editor, reccer, lurker, squee-er): Read (obviously), write, mod (at WTP), beta a little, rec, lurk and Squee as much as possible
favorite Snape/Harry cliche: Mpreg (god help me)
Top three favorite Snape/Harry works, links if you've got 'em: Man, that's hard. Let's see I adore At the Heart of Things by Empathic Siren and it's sequel The Thief and the Sorceress by Empathic Siren (who's unfortunately left the fandom).

And although I'm not really a vampire kind of girl, I think Tira Nog's Nocturne is incredible.

And although I know I'm skipping so many wonderful stories that I should mention here, I think for my last one I have to go for the story that drew me into this fandom. Snape the Home Fries Nazi by pir8fancier paints a beautiful picture of two men coping with pain and loss in what turns out to be a very graceful manner.

I beg forgiveness of all the wonderful authors who I didn't mention here. I wish I had five, so that I could put in a couple more of you (Most especially DementorDelta's newest wonderful fic The Black Asphodel, which despite my lack of familiarity with The Scarlet Pimpernel, pushes all my historical fiction buttons. (I snuck that in, didn't I)

Snape or Harry?: Snape, if I had to pick, although I prefer him to be with Harry whenever possible.

Other fandom(s): I'll read just about any HP pairing, but don't have any other fandoms at the moment (although someone is trying to push me into Merlin, and I might give in soon).

Anything else you'd like us to know: Not much else. Love all you guys and the endless hours of entertainment you provide for me. *Snuggles happily into her fandom home*

Since I just noticed that two of mine were already mentioned by others, I wanted to drop in another favorite.

lilyseyes Sentinel in the Shadows is a wonderful take on what might have happened, had Severus realized what was happpening to Harry early on. Actually, now that I've said that I would like to mention that all of lilyseyes fics are absolutely wonderful.

You're so welcome. I should have said that I love everything you write, especially that one, and the Breathe and Erastes series (which I've been quite remiss on commenting on lately, but never miss).

I hope it's okay that I friended you. Your Expecting the Unexpected is still one of my favorites that I can never seem to get sick of going back and reading.

OMG!!! Yes! Absolutely!

You have no idea how it thrills me to hear you say that. That story was actually my first Snarry ever (with the exception of a couple of drabbles) and I was seriously uncertain about it.

I think I love you!!!

(I know -10 points for exclamation point abuse)

Hi!! *waves* I've seen you about as well. *checks flist* Hmm...why aren't you on it? It must have been an oversight on my part.

Love the title by the way!

I know. I had begun reading a bit of HP fic when I found that one, but had studiously avoided Snarry, which I didn't think would ring my bell. But with a title like that, I had to see what it was about. And that was the end for me. I'm a Snarry girl all the way now.

Isn't it great when you find one you forgot about again. *goes to read re-found Snarry*
