Snarry-a-Thon FIC: Felinated
Title: Felinated!
Author: [info]the_con_cept
Other Pairings/Threesomes: Background Ron/Hermione
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~17,800
Warnings: None, really.
Prompt: 2 - A potions accident leaves Snape as a cat until who-knows-when. Dumbledore asks Harry, after every (other?) teacher at Hogwarts, to care for him until the solution is found or the potion reverses itself. Snape is, of course, no more friendly as a cat than as a person. Bonus points if Harry doesn't tell Ron an Hermione what's happened, to spare Snape the embarrassment.
Summary: A potions accident leaves Snape as a cat until who-knows-when. Harry’s already got his hands full when a prankster starts sabotaging the rebuilding of Hogwarts. But what if it’s not just a prank?
A/N: Much thanks to A for being there for me through various crises and making sure this still came out unscathed.

What a fantastic start!!

This was such a fun and clever story. I love the progression, and how nasty and horrible Snape is as a cat. :P

And it was just so smooth and the pacing was purrfect!

Oh my, this was so funny and sweet and funny and poignant (and did I mention funny?)! The turns of phrase so often caught me with my mouth full, that I just gave up eating. (You're great for my diet)

Your characterization was superb! I adored your Harry: sweet, loyal, still learning about himself and his friends. It is wonderful that he was taking time to figure out what he wanted. Severus was just more of himself--delicious. I this line melted me: Snape looked at him for a long moment. "It was therapeutic, at that. For the first time in memory, I was able to fully express my displeasure, holding nothing back," Snape said dreamily.

The development of their relationship was almost inevitable because of the nature of their characters. You wrote it beautifully!

Mmm, romance, humour and a mystery :D
I loved cat!Snape, and how like his human counterpart he was (even down to the "greasy black fur") while still having all a cat's characteristics. Well done.

ha! That was great. Interesting how I thought nothing strange of developing romance with a cat... Snape was an awesome cat, so himself! And Harry was funny... glittering collars for Snape and brushing his hair... I wish I had seen them snuggle together in human form... but oh well.... I have to say that Snape was perfect. Excellent writing that. Now who wrote this??? I have no idea... lol But it will be fun to guess...

That was wonderful! Very funny and very sweet. I love cat!Snape and of course Harry spoiling him. I even liked Harry even though this is very close to canon!Harry and I really really don't like him pass book 4. Wonderful Job!

wonderful story! I burst out laughing and had to share with my friend when Harry was lamenting over how Snape would have piled bricks onto his person before dead. ^_^
I also really loved Snape fighting Goyle *snicker* and great job with the catty-ness =)

Heee, I liked that! A cat is just the right form for Snape - cranky, headstrong, demanding but elegant and cuddly...
Also, I loved how you developed the story! Too bad there was no human!sex going on between them yet...

YAY! this was my prompt, and I'm so, so glad to see it complete! Your Snape cat is perfect... I love all the different ways he expressed his displeasure (the fur bomb, the hairball, etc.. ). The mystery was a great way to keep the story going, and I like how snape and harry not being allowed (technically) to help, brought them closer together.

For all Snape's yowling and scratching, what a cute, sweet story!

Just so amazing. I swear, this just made me want a cat so bad...But seriously, it was really amazing. The dynamic plot twists and turns, and then the conclusion, and naked wrestling Snape...

Great Job!

This is great! Loved your characterization of cat!Snape. Post-Cat Snape seemed not quite himself, but the net effect was a lingering impression that whatever unspecified spell turned him into a cat had a few lasting effects. Lobster Newburg indeed!

Had to do the family then..for Easter... while I played nice.. I was itching to log on to my nephew's computer... and read the Fest Fics!!

and I LOVE THIS!! Severus as a cat... his temperment and the gradual way.. he began to settle down.. but not.. being cuddled.. and still being the tempermental pussy that he can be..

I laughed at the image of Severus playing with the string.. his little butt wiggling as he got ready to attack his prey..

There is SO much.. and I love it!!

OMG!! Loved this especially:

Harry felt his face go hot. Ron said 'hero' the way most people would say 'petty thief,' or 'spreader of sexually transmitted diseases.'

Very fun.

Oh, so sweet! Snape is a perfect cat, of course. He's just the sort that proves that cats are *not* cuddly and soft unless they want something from you to be.

It's so late at night I'm afraid to write more in case it all goes MWRRRAOOOWLL unintelligible... But I'll drift off to sleep smiling happily at the thought of Snape and his pink bit and Harry together at last in that big comfy bed. :D :D :D
