Snarry-a-Thon FIC: Felinated
Title: Felinated!
Author: [info]the_con_cept
Other Pairings/Threesomes: Background Ron/Hermione
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~17,800
Warnings: None, really.
Prompt: 2 - A potions accident leaves Snape as a cat until who-knows-when. Dumbledore asks Harry, after every (other?) teacher at Hogwarts, to care for him until the solution is found or the potion reverses itself. Snape is, of course, no more friendly as a cat than as a person. Bonus points if Harry doesn't tell Ron an Hermione what's happened, to spare Snape the embarrassment.
Summary: A potions accident leaves Snape as a cat until who-knows-when. Harry’s already got his hands full when a prankster starts sabotaging the rebuilding of Hogwarts. But what if it’s not just a prank?
A/N: Much thanks to A for being there for me through various crises and making sure this still came out unscathed.

Aw, that was so cute and funny. Sparkly collars! :D I could just see the preeny side of Snape coming through. What a terrific story. :)

*giggles*
That was truly hilarious. :)
I really enjoyed that. All the little details (Snape's love of bling, his ending up being fond of being petted) rang true, and the puns were great.
Lovely fic!

Hah! This was fun and funny. Snape makes a good cat, and a familiar one. *peers at my own demon kitty* I enjoyed the mystery and the use of characters that often don't get much play -- Goyle, Dennis, Lee, Flitwick.

This was so wonderful, and even managed to be cutely romantic in spite of the fact Severus was a cat at the time.

A most delightful story. I really love the humor throughout the story and the ending was great. Snape as a cat is a favorite of mine and the mystery aspect was wonderful too. Well done!!~Sophia

This was fun to read. I liked guessing who the saboteur was and how the mystery was solved. The timing was very amusing!
Most of all I enjoyed Harry and cat!Snape’s private moments. All that petting and playing and bits like this:

Snape lolled in the doorway on his back, his tongue hanging out and his eyes a little bit crossed.
"What's wrong with you?" Harry demanded. "You look like an idiot." A sudden suspicion dawned. "That's your impression of
me, isn't it?" he said, outraged.

I've always loved HarryCat! - But SnapeCat! is now up there. He really does have the personality for being exactly like some cats I know! I loved him throwing up in Ginny's shoe. Just a perfect expression of how Snape felt about her.

That was delightful! You did a great job. Snape makes a very convincing cat and I loved how Goyle of all people was the saboteur, something that should have been obvious but wasn't at all. Kudos to you!

Delightful and hilarious. You managed to keep Snape very in character as a cat. It was also a nice change to see Harry running around trying to keep Snape out of danger as it's usually the other way around.

Oh, man, that was bloody hilarious!!! :D I absolutely loved it! Cat!Snape - you can´t go wrong with that and Harry was very well written, not at all overshadowed by Severus. I´m sure one of the great mistresses of Snarry is the author of this one, but just in case you´re a fresh writer - you rock, write more snarry!!!

Joining the crowd of yay-sayers (albeit belatedly). *Very* charming. I love Snape as a horrid, snarling, diva of a cat (and Harry as a so-indulgent "owner"). I'll be adding this to my recs page at the next update (post-reveal)

You do it again. :) Your stories are always a delight to read, quirky and funny and perfect for snuggling down with at the end of a long day. This one was no exception and for all my expectations for it, still managed to sweep me away into a golden Snarryland. Your Harry is so very endearing, as impulsive and quick to jump to conclusions as in canon (at the expense of Lee this time) but also a little more self-aware, a little wiser, and rather a lot more comfortable in his own skin and at peace with his place in the world. Harry's ruminations about Hagrid as his first family and his first experience with unconditional love was a pleasant surprise; it's sometimes hard to remember that Harry is the thoughtful, reflective boy of the early books. And the interaction with a bristly, bloodthirsty cat!Snape - well, I can do nothing but bow to you and your extraordinary imagination and sharp-edged writing. Thank you so much for another wonderful (extremely cuddly) gift to the fandom!

Rotf. I adore your brand of wit; you had me cackling a few times there. The development of relationship from homicidal ball of fur and his victim, to what could be a beautiful friendship (leer) was well paced.
