Dearest Septima,
Brilliant! Your father and I can’t wait to see you and meet your beloved. The evergreens are particularly splendid this year, especially the ones in the Far Grove, and the elves have assured us that there are plenty of lovely, perfectly symmetrical trees that will look quite splendid in the family parlor. I’m sure he’ll enjoy the hike.
It’s supposed to be quite cold the night you arrive, so make sure to dress warmly. The hike will start right after supper. See you tomorrow!
