Fortunately Moody had stumped back to whatever grotty little “safe house” he’d acquired after the War by the time the next film was screened. The Incredibles was another animated film, about a family of superheroes who’d been forced to retire by public disapproval, and several of the older Muggleborns gave a presentation during lunch about the film itself, the superheroes it parodied and referenced, and its impact on their younger days.
Severus seemed to be enjoying it well enough, at least until Edna Mode began her rant about capes. He also seemed less than pleased about Syndrome’s ultimate fate.

“Capes have their uses,” Severus said abruptly during Minerva’s post-film faculty collation. “Perhaps they’re not practical around machinery, but they’re not precisely death traps.”
“Really?” said this year’s DADA teacher. “Of course I have a cloak, but it flaps open during a strong wind, and the hem got caught in the staircase when it changed direction last Tuesday. Almost pulled me right off my feet.”
“It’s probably too long,” Filius chimed in. “I had that problem until I found a good tailor. Proper fit is essential.”
“They bunch up on the train,” argued the DAD professor, and the argument began.
