Severus had his wand out and had cast a muffliato that would cover the entire room, while Remus sealed the doors with a single word. Gemma’s father would have to be told that his daughter was a witch, but not until the lights were back on.
“I didn’t do anything!” Alison shrieked, burying her face in her mother’s shoulder. “I just wanted to see the pictures and – “
Gemma clutched at her child, voice shaking as Remus cast a soft lumos. “What is going on? Remus – “
Severus turned off Alison’s phone and sheathed his wand. “We need to talk.”
