Note: this is yet another Motherless Child drabble, wherein Snape and Lupin marry and adopt a young werewolf. Their son John is about 14 in this one.
Nymphadrora gaped at the compost scattered across the yard, floating in the swimming pool, and splattered on the back wall of the house. “What happened?”
“I tried to summon his phone,” said Severus. He shuddered at the memory of the entire compost heap erupting as John's phone flew up, out, and into his ungloved hand. “I wasn't expecting this.”
“Ya think?” Nymphadora murmured restituere and waited for the mess to right itself. “Reddit isn't all trolls, you know.”
“Trolls use the Internet? What - “
She visibly winced. “We need to talk before he changes back, Sev.”
