The firewalls held during the first test run, and even the second. By the third, though, Snape and Malfoy had sussed out every weakness, and by the fifth Potter was visibly sweating. “They shouldn't be able to do this,” he muttered, glaring at his computer screen. “They're not that good.”
“Based on the evidence, they most certainly are.” Potter's supervisor raised an eyebrow as she watched the rows of code scroll by. “Better up your game a few notches, Harry. They're chewing through your defenses like they're candy floss.”
“Bloody hell,” Potter said, and went back to work.
